“As a Canadian based artist and author illustrator, I work with many different mediums in my creative processes. My passion for digital art is evolving and fastly becoming a favorite of mine. As a visual artist specialising in two dimensional design artwork my images are sometimes simple but impactful, which I believe makes the art stand out. I love applying my unique view of the world around me and interpret this through my work. I am also the proud author of the 'Being Me' adventure books series. My husband and I came up with the idea of a cute and curious alien, and from there I have created a number of bright and colorful story books.
I split my time between the 'Being Me' and creating designs for my clothing store. I have a strong belief in the virtuosity of my pieces, especially in the meticulous use of detailed work. Together with a limited palette I feel this makes my art unique. I just love the black, white and grey combo.
What am I saying about my art? Well, it’s all about freedom, celebrating the fact that I can express myself through my work with my own insight into the world I see without censorship or restriction. I want to find beauty and convey it, on my terms, in whatever way I choose.
